The rendering of contemporary Tribal Art by Steve Baldwin is admired for its unique form and high energy. These drawings are manifested by a very strong physical connection through years of developing muscle memory. ‘Millions’ of pen strokes have resulted in a technique that only Steve’s eye-hand coordination can perform with ink on paper. With his flair for hypnotic-form, the art creations of animal totems, ceremonial shields, and spiritual deities stand alone in their grandeur and congruence with the mystical…You won’t be able to take your eyes off of these drawings.

This fine artwork is produced with Indian ink that has maximum light-fastness. High quality watercolor paper is used with the larger pieces having a weight of 100-plus pounds. Sizes range from 7” X 5” to 40” X 60”. A size that suits most any home and the creations remain very dynamic for distant viewing is 24” X 18”.

The Goanna of Australia inspired the reptile-like figures. These lizards are considered sacred totems and are an important part of the ancient traditions of the aboriginal people.
